Abstract

The study sought to measure voters’ attitudes towards the 2020 parliamentary elections and reached the following result:
There is a positive, statistically significant correlation between following up on political programs and keenness to participate in the parliamentary elections. The study also found that there is a positive, statistically significant correlation between the public’s evaluation of political programs and the evaluation of candidates in the parliamentary elections. There is also a positive, statistically significant correlation between The media covered the People's Assembly elections and went to cast their vote. There is also a positive correlation with statistical significance between the lack of political interest and the reasons for reluctance to participate in the elections.
The results indicated that there is a positive, statistically significant correlation between participation in the parliamentary elections, and the issues that society expects the representatives to be concerned with.
The study confirmed that there is a positive correlation with statistical significance between the performance of Parliament and its image presented in political programs, participation in parliamentary elections and issues.
