Abstract

The research problem crystallizes in monitoring and analyzing the extent of Egyptian youth’s dependence on the contents of multimedia press files (flash journalism) in increasing readability, following up on events and providing them with information, and measuring the effects they have on Egyptian youth by conducting a field study on it. The main objective of this study is to identify The extent of the Egyptian youth’s dependence on the contents of multi-media press files (flash journalism). In this context, the study relied on the survey method, and the study uses the survey form in the field study of Egyptian youth, and the study community is represented by the Egyptian youth, and a deliberate sample of flash press users was chosen, This is due to the lack of detailed data about the users of flash press, consisting of 400 items, and this study relies in its theoretical construction on the “dependence” theory, and the study concluded that the extent of exposure to the contents of flash press files reached 57.0% sometimes, then followed that exposure at a rate of “always” with a percentage of It reached 24.0%, and the lowest percentage of exposure was “rarely” with a rate of 19.0%, and the amount of time you allotted to use flash press “hours” ranked first penny It reached 80.8%, and came in second place “more than 3 hours” with a rate of 14.5%, then followed that in third place “two hours” with a rate of 4.8%,
