The purpose of this study was to assess outcomes of Parteners 2 as a media literacy program, provide recommendations for improving the quality of the program, and determine implications for developing other media literacy programs. The findings accomplished all of these purposes. Civil society initiatives for media literacy like “Partners 2 program” is clearly an effective mean for promoting citizen engagement among youth and demonstrates signs of a long-term impact on participants. Fostering participation of universities' students require a real investment in building their capacities to work their role as agents for social change and their Involvement in the different project phases including the project design, monitoring and evaluation is necessary.
