The Psychological and Social Implication of Egyptian youth's use of Mobile Phone Applications

Abstract

Identifying the reasons for the Egyptian public's use of mobile phone applications, and the study also seeks to know the benefits achieved from this use and the factors affecting it, in addition to monitoring and interpreting the psychological and social effects of the Egyptian public's use of smart phone applications. a descriptive study that was applied using the survey method on a random sample of the Egyptian public consisting of (400) respondent
The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are:
-      The hypothesis is proven correct, that there is a correlation between the degree of audience use of mobile phone applications and the psychological and social effects (positive - negative)
-      The validity of the hypothesis that there is a correlation between the motives of the Egyptian public's use of smart phone applications and the satisfaction achieved from them.
-      The hypothesis is partially valid, as there is a relationship between the age groups of the study sample according to the quality of the contents of mobile phone applications.
-      The hypothesis is partially proven, as there are statistically significant differences between age groups and educational status according to the degree of their use of mobile phone applications
