The Perecption of Social Media Users of Cyber Security and Its Role IN Information Security:

-      The problem of studying was represented in the need to study the relationship between using the social media and perception of the importance of cyber security and consciousness of its role of maintaining of security their privacy information security. The objectives of the study revolve around a main goal, which is "to reveal the relationship between the use of social networking sites and the perception of the importance of cyber security and its role in information security. A set of sub_ goals is emerged from this target and this goals is (the Recognition of the rates of using of social media and its motivates, knowing the extent of perception of users the social network sites of cyber security, its risks and violations, and Detection of the degree of the perception of the users of social media in ways to maintain cyber security system).
-      The researcher in this study depend on quantitative survey method using the online questionnaire form (Electronic questionnaire) as tool to collect data intentional sample (440 individual) from the users of social media of different ages and levels (educational, economical, social) as well as the researcher based on theoretical framework of the study Public Sphere theory in order to reveal the relationship between the users of social media and the perception of the importance of cyber security and its role in information security. so the social media provide field in dialogues and discussion on various topics which create a kind of public field thus shapes individuals' perception about this topic.
-      The study found that: The majority of users of the social media (the study sample) ranges between that they percept the cyber security and the ways to maintain its system with high and medium degree, The majority of users of social media (the study sample) its ranges between that they percept the risks of cyber security and its violation with high and medium degree, There is a statistically significant correlation between the rates of using of social media and the following variables: (the motivates of using the social media/ perception of users of social media of cyber security/ perception of users of social networking sites of ways to maintain the cyber security system/ perception of users of social networking sites of cyber security risks/ perception of users of social media of cyber security violations), that There is a statistically significant correlation between users of social media sites' perception of cyber security and their perception of ways to maintain its system, its risks and violations, that There is a statistically significant correlation between users of social media sites' perception of ways to maintain the cyber security system and their perception of its risks and violations, that that There is a statistically significant correlation between the perception of social media users of cyber security risks and their perception of cyber security violations.
