Recent Trends in news Web Editing Research

This study aims to identify the recent trends in news website editing research, and belongs to the descriptive analytical critical studies, depends on the method of Meta-Analysis, based on the qualitative critical analysis approach to analyze a sample of published and unpublished scientific research related to website editing, which published during 2013 to 2020, and amounted to about (163) studies.
It concluded that recent research trends in the field of editing news sites were as follows:
- The first research trend: the impact of technological technologies on the press content of websites: (artificial intelligence (AI) techniques in news production, the impact of technology on newsrooms, mobile journalism, media platforms .
-The second research trend: the new forms in the content of news websites: (Data Journalism, Multimedia, Citizen Journalism and Video Journalism, other forms (Podcast Journalism - Immersive Journalism - Solutions Journalism -visual reality- The Cross-Media).
-The third research direction: methods of editing and covering press content in the electronic world: (Editing and Writing Electronic news, Patterns of news coverage on websites, Hypertext).
-The fourth research direction: news values ​​and the credibility of websites: (news values ​​in press content and credibility of websites)
