The role of official pages of government institutions on social networks in forming the public's health awareness of the Corona pandemic

Abstract

The problem of the study is represented in monitoring, measuring and analyzing the relationship between the level of public dependence on the official pages of government institutions on social media, represented in: 
• The official page of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. 
• Official page of the Ministry of Health and Population. 
• The official page of the World Health Organization in Egypt. 
In order to monitor the extent of the ability of these pages to influence them in terms of cognitive, emotional and behavioral, the study also seeks to uncover the factors and variables that affect the audience's dependence on these pages in terms of the level of exposure to them, their preference for these pages 
The results of the study indicate that the most important official pages of government institutions that the public follow are the official page of official spokespeople, followed by the official page of the Ministry of Health, followed by the official page of the Council of Ministers, and finally the World Health Organization in the Arab Republic of Egypt, where these official pages of government institutions are played on websites Social communication has an important role as a source to deny rumors circulating through social media, with its positive impact on the public
