The Reality of Practicing Educational Media Activities in Public Libraries and its Impact on The Internal Audience of Libraries "MISR Public Library in Giza a model".

Abstract

This Research Aims to Identify the Reality of Practicing Educational Media Activities Dduring Field Training inside the Misr Public Library in Giza from the Trainees' Point of View, and also Identifying Their Impact on The Library's Internal Audience, as Well as Measuring The Intermediate Variables That Have an Effective Role in The Impact Process.
The Survey Method was Relied Upon and a Combined of Quantitative and Qualitative Studies, The Quantitative Study was Applied to a Deliberate Sample of 50 Individuals From The Followers of Educational Media Activities From The Internal Audience in The Misr Public Library in Giza, In Addition to The Sample Focus Group Discussion That Included a Group of Educational Media Graduates Who Received Field Training at The Misr Public Library in Giza When They were Fourth Year Students in Three Consecutive Academic Years, and Their Number Reached Eight Male and Female Respondents.
The Study Concluded Several Results Such as: It was Found That There is a Statistically Significant Relationship Between The Patterns of Activity That Supports The Communicative Effects, and Effects of Exposure of The Internal Audience to Public Libraries to Educational Media Activities Regarding Pattern "Selectivity, Realism – Attention, Satisfaction – Involvement, Satisfaction", It was also Shown That There is a Statistically Significant Relationship Between Utilitarian Motives and the Satisfaction and Social Interaction, and Between Ritualistic Motives and Satisfaction, While No Statistically Significant Relationship was Established Between Utilitarian and Ritualistic Motives and Other Effects of Exposure, The Fourth Hypothesis was Completely Confirmed There is a Statistically Significant Correlation Between The Role of Educational Media Activities in Serving The Objectives of The Library and  The Role of The Library in The Success of Educational Media Activities.
