The Saudi child seeking information from traditional and digital media about the emerging corona virus pandemic and their Cognition of it

The current research is a field research in light of the information seeking theory, which aims to identify: the level of Saudi child seeking information from traditional and digital media about the emerging coronavirus pandemic and. This research is descriptive, which was carried out within the framework of the sample survey method using a questionnaire, using the electronic application method through on a number (200) respondents from Saudi children from the southern region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the intermediate education classes (preparatory).
 Main results:
1- There are statistically significant differences between the level of Saudi child seeking information about the emerging corona virus pandemic and the level of awareness of the pandemic.
2- There are statistically significant differences between the level of interest in information about the emerging corona virus pandemic and the level of Saudi child seeking this information from traditional and digital media.
3- There are statistically significant differences between the level of awareness of the Saudi child of the emerging corona virus pandemic and the type of media from which the information was sought (traditional, digital).
4- There are statistically significant differences between the child's level of awareness of the emerging corona virus pandemic and the level of confidence in the media (traditional and digital).
5- There are statistically significant differences between the level of the Saudi child seeking information about the emerging corona virus pandemic from traditional and digital media and the level of effects resulting from this request.
6- While not realized hypotheses argument: There are statistically significant differences between the level of Saudi child seeking information about the emerging coronavirus pandemic from traditional and digital media according to the different demographic variables (economic and social level, gender) while it is proven with regard to the classroom
