Attitude of Staff in Egyptian universities towards the use of digital communication technologies in the educational process during the (COVID-19) pandemic

Abstract

The study sought to analyze attitude of staff in Egyptian universities towards using digital communication techniques in communicating with students, by examining the extent to which faculty staff in Egyptian universities use digital communication technologies, the extent their adoption of them, as well as factors affecting the acceptance and use of faculty members digital communication technologies in the educational process through the unified theory of technology acceptance and use UTAUT
The study concluded "that 65.5% of the study sample confirmed that they are somewhat satisfied with the use of digital communication technologies in the educational process, while 25.5% the study sample indicated that they are completely satisfied with the use, and the positive impact was that digital communication technologies gain the motivation to keep pace with the continuous progress in technology and science and communicate with developments in various fields in the first place with an approval rating of 84.5%.
