Employing media students of smart phones in developing both sides of learning and training :

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the fields and rate of student employment in media colleges for smart phone applications in learning or training, monitor the most important of these applications and platforms, and clarify how to benefit from smart phone applications and educational platforms in learning and training.
This descriptive study was based on the survey, and used the questionnaire tool, in light of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology. And concluded to a number of results as following:
-The results indicated that students employ communication applications in the first place, then e-books applications, then course applications, then language and translation dictionaries applications, then image capture and editing applications, then graphics and photo editing applications, then text editing and processing applications, then video and montage applications.
-The results indicates the high rate of media students employing smart phone applications in the educational and training aspects, through hundreds of applications and programs that help in understanding educational materials, and developing their general knowledge and skills, as they provide easy-to-use tools that help students complete educational and training tasks, and make assignments. And sending comments, in addition to scientific communication with students with professors of academic subjects and their colleagues, with the importance of employing available technologies, as multiple generations of smartphones allow the possibility of photography, recording, editing, montage, directing, and editing of images with high technologies that are no longer restricted by limits, and language and translation applications also help Photography, editing, montage and graphics in developing students' skills and qualifying them in the media.
