Abstract



The study sought to identify the attitude of Egyptian journalists regarding the using artificial intelligence in developing the press contents of information richness in the period from 01/06/2020 to 31/07/2020. The researcher relied on the methodology of the survey using a questionnaire form that was applied to a sample of journalists working in Egyptian institutions consisting of 250 respondents who were deliberately selected from a number (16) Egyptian newspapers that varied in terms of ownership (national newspapers / party newspapers / private newspapers) and the study reached a number Among the most important results:
-The results of the study indicated that the Egyptian newspapers rely on modern and technological techniques in the press work in collecting, editing, directing and publishing operations with a large percentage of 67.2%, then with an average degree of 32.8%. Journalist in preparation for printing and publishing.
- The results of the study indicated that the Egyptian newspapers use advanced applications of artificial intelligence systems in journalistic work at a rate of 51.6% of the sample, most of them were in national and private newspapers, and depend on them irregularly by 32.8%, while not deliberate 15.6% From the Egyptian newspapers on the modern applications of artificial intelligence.
- There is a significant correlation between the press institution's use of modern technologies in collecting, editing, and directing journalism and its trend towards employing artificial intelligence technology techniques in developing journalistic contents.

- There are statistically significant differences between the trends of Egyptian journalists towards applying artificial intelligence technology in press institutions according to (type / experience / age / type of institution) partly with regard to experience and type of university and not established in relation to gender and age.
- There is a statistically significant correlation between the attitudes of Egyptian journalists towards the application of artificial intelligence technology in press institutions and the variables of the unified theory of acceptance of technology (expectation of performance / anxiety about use, expected benefit / social impacts / available facilities / expected effort).
