The effectiveness of a program based on the team learning approach via the Internet to raise awareness about electronic journalistic editing skills for an educational media specialist

Abstract

The purpose of the current research is to investigate the effectiveness of a program based on Team Based Learning Approach via Internet in developing   awareness of Electronic Editing Skills among Educational Media Specialists. The design of the research was quasi experimental research. The participants of the research were thrity (N= 30) educational media specialists at Qalubia governorate. They were tested before and after the treatment. They were taught through using Team Based Learning Approach via Internet. The instrument of the research included awareness of electronic editing skills scale as a tool for data collection. The results of the research revealed a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the study participants in the pre and post administration of the awareness of electronic editing skills scale in favor of the post administration. There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the study participants in aims and functions of electronic editing of the pre and post administration of the awareness of electronic editing skills scale in favor of the post administration. There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the study participants in electronic journal writing of the pre and post administration of the awareness of electronic editing skills scale in favor of the post administration. Therefore, the results confirmed the effectiveness of of a program based on team based learning approach via internet in developing   awareness of electronic editing skills among educational media specialists
